Fowler's Peanut Brittle
Peanut (or any nut) Brittle

Ingredients:

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups raw peanuts, or other nuts (cooked and/or salted nuts also work fine)
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Equipment:
- candy thermometer
- 2 10 x 15 inch baking pans, greased
Heat:
- sugar, corn syrup, and water in saucepan until the sugar dissolves and the temperature reaches 305 degrees.
Add:
- the butter, stirring until melted.
Stir:
- in the salt and nuts with a spatula, distributing them evenly.
Take:
- the pan off the heat and quickly add the baking soda, stirring until it's well incorporated.
