Sugar Christmas Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbs eggnog
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
Cream:
  • butter until light and fluffy.  Add sugar.  Add egg and vanilla.  Beat thoroughly.  Add eggnog.
Sift:
  • flour, salt, and baking powder.  Stir into butter mixture and blend well.  Arrange by teaspoonfuls on buttered cookie sheet 1 inch apart.
Bake:
  • at 375 for about 8 minutes.  Makes 50-60 cookies.
